Dr. Kaushal Dhawan was born in India and attended the top dental school, Manipal University, for his initial dental education. After moving to the United States, he went to UCSF School of Dentistry for his DDS. He graduated with many clinical and academic accolades. Because Dr. Dhawan has a penchant for knowledge and clinical excellence, he decided to pursue his residency in Prosthodontics. Since 2013 Dr. Dhawan has taught dentistry and treated patients at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine at Anschutz Medical Campus. He continues teaching to this day.

Over the years Dr. Kaushal Dhawan has dedicated himself to improving his knowledge and clinical skills through various continuing education courses and study clubs. Dr. Dhawan has been a member of the American Dental Association for upwards of 5 years. He is active in Prosthodontics organizations like the Academy of Osseointegration and the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontists.

As a result of being a Prosthodontist and faculty member at a dental school, Dr. Dhawan carries a keen sense of diagnosis and treatment planning. But, also a thorough understanding of occlusion, dentures, partials, and implants he is able to help treat many complicated patients; and serve as a mentor to many students and general dentists around the area.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Dhawan loves to spend time with his family. He loves to explore Colorado outdoors with his wife Sakshi and two children Rhibu and Maher. They enjoy family hikes and travel so going to the mountains is a normal occurrence. Dr. Dhawan and his family like all sorts of foods so they make it a habit of trying out different types of cuisines.
